- The bottom and top contacts slip on wooden surfaces as it is not rubberised. Some screws are provided so there is an option to screw down, but my floor is concrete and the product description says that this should not be required.
- The central quick release which stops the top pole slipping down is not gripping tightly enough so the top pole slips when you put a bike on it and apply a little more weight – i.e. it’s going to slip in the long run and the pole will then come down!
Am trying to return at the moment…
Topeak do a version of this with a foot locking mechanism and (I believe) metal quick release which looks a lot more sturdy. I’ll be trying this out instead…
