This advertisement is one of five Skippy peanut butter commercials that I will be uploading this evening. This ad is from the early 50′s. Three of the other four Skippy commercials are also from the early 50′s. The fifth commercial is from 1962. The contrast between ads from the early 1950′s & the early 1960′s is huge. TV commercials matured quite a bit in those ten years, or maybe I should say, they became more professional
This ad has the announcer claiming the “poor” grocery store clerk, who made a beautiful display of Skippy peanut butter, will be worn out having to replace the jars that were purchased.

2) (1950′s SKIPPY peanut butter commercial – NEW CHUNKY STYLE)
3) (1950′s SKIPPY peanut butter commercial “Digestible Freshness Chemicals”)
4) (1950s SKIPPY peanut butter commercial “SNOOTY PEANUTS”)
